Art Storage
Duo Fine Art Services offers short and long term museum standard storage for all your precious valuables. Our 2,000 sq. ft faculty offers climate control and secure 24/7 security. We service artists, collectors, auction houses and museums.
Fabrication
We provide a wide range of fabrication services including but not limited to; shipping crates, stretchers, pedestals, casework, wall construction, mounts, as well as custom projects. Duo does complete exhibition buildouts for local and national museums.
Install and Design
We have over 15 years of experience installing and art handling. Duo Fine Art Services is available for museum installation, galleries, traveling exhibitions and private collections. We also provide contract exhibition design and coordination. We are here to help no matter if it is a single painting or marble sculptures that need to be moved.
Transportation
Duo Fine Art Services offers art transportation services within the East coast and Mid-west regions. We provide both exclusive and group shuttles. Our group shuttle calendar is listed on Transportation page so you can stay up to date on our schedule. We are TSA approved in order to deliver works to airports for national or international shipping.

Duo Fine Art Services is located in metro Detroit. We offer a multitude of services including: exhibition design, museum quality crates, art installation, as well as fabrication and storage needs. We provide services to museums, art collectors and artists. Duo Fine Art Services was established in 2023 by Jon Geiger, who has over 15 years of art museum experience and a MFA in Ceramics. Prior to starting the business, Geiger worked for the Denver Art Museum, Cranbrook Art Museum and Toledo Museum of Art.

Duo Fine Art Services is a small family owned business that was started out of a desire to offer comprehensive art services. We believe in fostering strong relationships and supporting the greater art community. The owners earned their MFA in Ceramics from Cranbrook Academy of Art, Michigan. Their love of making art was coupled with a decade of museum experience which is how Duo was established. We aren’t just a moving company, we are trained art professionals who understand how artwork is made, installed and stored for its longevity. We approach every project with the same level of appreciation regardless if you are an artist, auction house, a private collector or a museum. We see our services as a chance to collaborate with the client and are excited to share our passion and expertise!
